April 2022
Awesome Work, Terrible Leadership.
Research and Development Engineer in Knoxville:
Pros: The work is truly meaningful and is constantly changing. The variety keeps things interesting year after year.
Cons: The leadership team cares nothing about the consequences and impacts of their decisions. Morale is terrible. New hires last 3 to 5 years and quit. Those that can retire do as soon as possible. The leadership team's decisions and internal propaganda to re-spin their bad decisions are so out of touch and disconnected they only server to further establish that the regular staff mean nothing. They fact that they have to release propaganda directed at the staff speaks volumes. But their actions show that their words mean nothing.
April 2022
Work is good. They hire others for the same job at more money that know nothing about the job; but, they know people in management.
Research and Development Engineer in Holland:
Pros: Flexibility to innovate.
Cons: Group of people is small (3). I am the lowest paid but have the most demands to do electronic design, capability analysis, equipment design/troubleshooting/repair. Then there are a couple guys that used to work with managers at another employer that can't make an AutoCad drawing and do very little other than make fixtures out of 80/20 every few weeks and they get paid more.
March 2022
