While there are a lot of resources available to carry out quality work, RAs are generally undervalued and under appreciated. Seagen is trying to be better about gender pay equity, but they are not there yet and HR does not know what they are doing when it comes to tackling issues related to gender and bias. Overall, despite those big drawbacks, the company culture is a positive one (with a few exceptions as with anywhere) and the benefits are good.

There is a lot of leeway in what you can contribute to and a lot of that leeway is you taking an initiative to do so. Colleagues are amazing and the work challenging. Things can get a little amorphous at times, but so it goes in wcience.!
