Registered Nurse (RN):
Pros: I like the patient care. I like the challenge of working with chronic pain patients. I love the people I work with, including the surgeons. I feel like an important part of the team.
Cons: The pay is not competitive. My hours vary a lot and I don't know my schedule more than a day in advance.

It's not about the paycheck.
Registered Nurse (RN):
Nursing is not easy. Not many are qualified to handle the load. Not many are called to deliver this level of care. However, It is a most rewarding service oriented profession that requires skill, critical thinking, and incredible compassion. There is no doubt God called you to this profession. Allow him to work through you, and your career will be the best thing you'll ever do with your time.

Rehab Nurse.
Registered Nurse (RN):
Pros: I am PRN so I can schedule my own shifts as long as I am available for 10 shifts per month. Due to the high turnovers and staffing shortages I am often called in to work for a bonus or sometimes a double bonus. Also, I work with a great group of nurses, mostly all of them love what they do and are dedicated to the patients.
Cons: RN's have to often function as Techs due to extremely high turn over. Techs have very bad attitude and can quit 2 or 3 times and return with no questions asked. Making job for nurse very difficult, stressful, and poor occurs with the techs who feel their job is safe and secure no matter how poor their performance.
