DIFFICULT AT TIMES.
Receptionist / Telephone Operator:
Pros: THE SALE DEPARTMENTS EMPLOYEES ARE LIKE FAMILY. THE SALE MANAGERS AND THE GENERAL MANAGER ARE AWESOME. HELPFUL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER MANAGER.
Cons: DEALING WITH THE SERVICE MANAGER. NOT BEING ABLE TO HELP UPSET SERVICE CUSTOMERS WITH SERVICE ISSUES. SERVICE AFTER HOURS VEHICLE PICK UP/DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS WHO ARE ANGRY THAT GOT DUMPED ON MY PLATE.

How to handle guest or customer.
Receptionist / Telephone Operator:
Pros: I like talk with the guest, enjoining serve them without heartless.
Cons: Careless doing main duties and forget to to follow up.

Professional Growth.
Receptionist / Telephone Operator:
Always remember that you are the first face of a company whether or not you are answering the telephone or someone is walking in the front door. Be pleasant at all times. If you cannot do that, than this position is not a position you need to remain in. Find a new career path immediately! Only use this type of position to open doors for you. Do not let this be your "career" path unless it offers you opportunity to learn about the Company you are working for and provide professional growth within the Company. If you are not able to grow professionally or personally, you need to move onward!

Stress Level Was Very High In Call Centers.
Receptionist / Telephone Operator:
Stay calm and don't try to do everything at once. Always be polite and smile. Do not bring problems from outside or family worries to work with you. Always be on time.

Be Neat, Be Patient, Be Prepared.
Receptionist / Telephone Operator:
You need to be very patient, have a good memory for figures, names and telephone numbers. Take down correct information to pass on to the correct extension. Remember your co-worker's job title and extension. Correct spelling, bilingual. Always be friendly when receiving guests and visitors. Dress smart, be well-groomed to have confidence and to be treated well. Be always aware of your stationery in cupboard. Never tell somebody you forgot to order pens or paper - keep stock! Good knowledge of WORD, Excel and e-mail correspondence. Be on time and be prepared to do work during lunch hour.
