What is it like working as a Receptionist?

August 2019
Receptionist in Austin:
They are known for low wages, long hours and expecting teammates to do way and above what they are hired to do. Their payscale is not inline with other warehouses. The system they use for performance increases have nothing to do with your performance, it is an across the board increase yearly of not more than 3% doesn't even cover cost of living increase in life.

It’s not that bad, but not good either.
Receptionist in Leesville:
Pros: I like how the schedule is very flexible, and that I am able to get Weekends/ a day off guaranteed. Boss is very friendly, facility is taken care of, casual/ comfortable dress is allowed, and friendly conversations/ jokes seem to be accepted generally.
Cons: It’s very stressful, onebof the coworkers is known for slacking and talking about everyone behind their backs, the check in system they have can use a little work, the place still relies on paper files so with as much customers as they get filing everything is very stressful, patient care forgets to call customers back which causes them to come in and give us a hard time, and while I’m doing what I was assigned to do many of the employees come and ask me for favors which puts a pause on my task.
