Quality Control (QC) Technician in Weed:
Pros: I love the fact that the company is proactively trying to utilize recycled material and reuse plastic. Free bottled water
Cons: They install millions of dollars of new tech, but don’t increase the size of the break rooms or bathrooms. 4 toilets for 100 employees. Low pay rates compared to the rest of the state. You can be fired for a small mistake. Hostile work environment. Recently an employee who has worked for the company for 23 years got a pay increase of 15¢/hour. Glad to know that if I work here my whole life I’m worth less than new ink for a printer. Quality control makes less than production workers. Janitorial is one person for 3 whole buildings.
