Pros: Travel to all factories to evaluate and manage Quality inspectors to make sure they are doing their job. Factory Technical and Social compliance Audits.
Cons: Less travel due to limited budget, and only evaluate Quality inspectors through phone.

Quality Assurance Manager:
Be ready to do the following: 1. Long distance travelling. 2. Resolve disputes. 3. Deal with difficult clients. 4. Most times you will be caught between the client and your own Company, just be factual all the time. 5. Since quality is not directly hands on, when targets are made credit goes to operations but when substandard work is observed, blame goes to quality. 6. You will quickly get to know different personalities and characters. 7. Above all, you will learn a lot of things and will enjoy every moment of it.
