Quality Assurance Manager, Computer Software in Alexandria:
Pros: Homes are reasonably priced and the community is great. It is small enough to know people everywhere you go but big enough to have competition between stored and restaurants to keep options open and prices reasonable. It is also large enough to support different fitness facilities and adult programs such as Men's league Hockey, Curling, Baseball, Volley Ball, Golf, and other team and individual sports. The school system has a lot to offer with all major sports activities for kids but is again small enough that you know many of the players or parents of players on the teams. The high school is modern and has an industrial tech program that includes welding, CNC machining, computer programming, and rapid prototype machines. There are many lakes in the area that make summer and winter recreation great. I pass three boat launches on my way to work each morning. Also there are great parks and campgrounds everywhere.
Cons: Risk of few options if looking for different employment opportunities and limited arts / culture opportunities.
