October 2013
Deadlines
Purchaser:
Being a purchaser in a manufacturing company the deadlines you have to work to are tight and the role is very stressful. Especially if the items to be ordered are new items and you have little information to work with for researching a supplier. You will also have some accounts work to do by matching up invoices and approving them for payment. The receiving of delivery dockets is vital for smooth running of this part of the job. All in all i would say that this is the most stressful role i have ever worked in.
Good Luck!
