What is it like working as a Property Manager?

Near but not in Evanston.
Property Manager in Evanston:
Pros: Love working at 9400 ft elevation, in the forest, and still being 30 miles away from Evanston
Cons: Evanston has some amenities, but is severely lacking in many supplies/ suppliers.

Overworked underappreciated.

Pros: I love my property, the tenants, and the work I do! I put everything into my work and have dedicated myself to the company because of my passion for the job
Cons: If you are not working one of the market rent high dollar properties your not showed appreciation no matter how hard you work. I work at one that is income regulated with a small budget so I get paid alot less than others doing the same job. When it comes to company parties such as Christmas parties, dinners or any bonuses it seems to only include certain properties. I work as many hours off the clock as I do off the clock but it's never seen! Most of the time I have worked here I have had to take on all aspects by myself being the only one there including doing the maintenance and I got to see how much that was appreciated this year with a yearly raise of $0.40. Kind of an insult!! I started out loving the company!

Pros: The location of my property is very well kept. It is centrally located to hosipitals and shopping.
Cons: Nothing, Warren is a good town.

Pros: I love the people here, they are most thoughtful, considerate, caring and simply put unique. Oklahoma Pride is what is all about!
Cons: Nothing I can really put out of my mouth at this time.

I absolutely love working for this company. They actually CARE about their employees. They take your concerns into consideration in every decision they make. They genuinely want to know how to make your life and job easier. They have a GREAT vacation package, they rolled out retirement benefits this year and are actively working on getting medical coverage. They have awesome bonuses that make you feel appreciated. This is honestly the best company I’ve ever worked for. I’ve been here to over 2 years and I still love it every day.
