March 2022
Only noticed when things break.
Programmer Analyst in Kenosha:
Pros: Fairly independent in job responsibilities. Flexibility when it comes to most personal requests. Lively work environment if you're in the right department or on the right team. Personal perks of discounted tools, a pension, and 401k matching (3%).
Cons: Communication is very poor, corners are cut and documentation is often not a priority or very out of date. This impacts employee transitioning and hiring substantially. An individual is very unlikely to move vertically in their professional career unless knowing someone, owning a product to manage, or inventing the next sliced bread. A manager is unlikely to advocate for you in your growth. Pay scales are not transparent and yearly reviews are often pushed aside. Any possibility of working remotely after the pandemic was firmly decided against for little to no justification despite after doing it successfully for over a year and a half. This gives off a stubborn and unwilling mentality when it comes to accommodating your employees.
November 2021
Good place for career growth.
Programmer Analyst in Newburyport:
Pros: Lots of opportunity to step up and solve problems while building skill set in a steady work environment
Cons: Disorganized and lack of communication between groups
