Cons: The mentality of taking care of your employees is gone. I've lived my whole life here and remember it use to be a sense of pride to say you work for the big 3 furniture companies in Grand Rapids. people would work their whole lives there and retire comfortably. Now companies seem to just care to get the most out of employees with the least amount of pay. People are not proud anymore of what they do or where they work at.
