I was frequently forced to work long hours without compensation.
Production Assistant in New York:
Pros: Despite some leadership issues, the teamwork among my former colleagues was outstanding.
Cons: I was frequently forced to work long hours without compensation, often extending into the late evenings and early mornings. The manager was an ignorant individual who failed to recognize the contribution of the employees, creating a toxic environment that was demoralizing and stressful. The constant pressure to perform in an environment that valued quantity over quality led to widespread burnout among the staff.
