Product Marketing Specialist Reviews
What is it like working as a Product Marketing Specialist?
April 2021
Small City Vibe with Big City Thinking.
Product Marketing Specialist in Lexington:
Pros: Cost of living is great with still lots of great amenities such as food and things to do. Lots of smart, talented people live in the area with the abundance of colleges around.
Cons: Opportunities are limited because of the size, but there are a lot of smart people here.
November 2019
Rough.
Product Marketing Specialist in Ferndale:
Pros: My full-time status which means even if its only a 35 hr work week i can use pto for the remaining 5 hrs.
Cons: I am paid so little, while having a great deal of responsibilities and work. Overall, im burnt out after 6 months but i need to pay rent, eat, put gas in my car, etc. its a bummer because before getting promoted i really loved working here.
October 2019
Great company.
Product Marketing Specialist in Dayton:
Pros: Though they are a large corporation I am trusted to do my job with limited supervision and career development is supported.
Cons: Large corporations sometimes come with slow administrative processes for requests and such but that is to be expected.
June 2019
Amazing products and will be a successful company long term. There is a lot of room for growth in the marketing department, but the pay is below market and doesn’t reflect their statement of investing in their employees.
Product Marketing Specialist in Lehi:
Pros: The culture of the company is amazing and it’s an exciting place to work. Lots of moving parts but that is because of the growth potential.
Cons: The pay is really the only downfall. It’s a bootstrapped company so it makes sense to not pay as much as funded companies, but it is below average in most cases as far as pay goes.
May 2019
Great starting point.
Product Marketing Specialist in Minneapolis:
Pros: A great place to work hard, grow and find opportunity within.
Cons: If you do not negotiate salary or come in with little to no experience you will be underpaid.
February 2019
Demotivating experience.
Product Marketing Specialist in Los Angeles:
Pros: A good starting point to get exposure to digital product for someone like me without tech experience and looking for a switch
Cons: Internal communication problems making people less willing to make changes. People are not passionate about their jobs and things are moving slowly to get an idea implemented here.
January 2019
Product Marketing Specialist:
It’s very nice company to work for. Like the mission of founders. But very flat organization and not much room for promotion. Good benefits. Compensation is average, maybe on lower side for tech industry.
