What is it like working as a Produce Associate?

I feel I work the hardest. I make myself available to come in on my off days or when they need help, but I am the lowest paid produce Associate and have been there longer than all but one of the other workers.

Pros: I enjoy my colleagues, but management doesnt understand how to manage, lead or teach those under them.
Cons: Management. Corporate will change things which do not get relayed to the associates.

It was wonderful and smooth, all employees in department got along with each other until we got our new department manager. Now we have a little bit of problens with a few things.

Pros: I enjoy working with most of my co workers and some management team members. I start work and our day goes by fast.
Cons: The fact that when management doesn't know what's going on during the day in our department or in an situation and assume things before getting facts.

Pros: Be able to go home during lunch hours and see my son. Short easy commute to and from work.
Cons: Not enough career jobs and better benefits. Stable works jobs. Culture is very small town life.
