September 2015
High Customer demands and fast paced.
Pharmacy Clerk:
Pros: I work with outstanding people whom take great pride in their work. We strive to meet all expectations of our patients needs and maintain a professional and caring attitude with smiles even though most customers are complaining about something. My coworkers are very motivated and encouraging.
Cons: I am disappointed with the extremely low pay and lack of benefits until you have given the company at least 2years of your life. We are placed in highly competitive and stressful environment with high expectations to increase sales and customer satisfaction and retention. In order to maintain the work flow breaks are not possible. At the end of the day you are exhausted and really can't see much in the way of a paycheck towards the fruits of your labor.
Therefore the life/ work balance is greatly reduced to only to work. It's time for a serious reevaluation for companies to increase their employees wages to reflect the hard work and dedication which in turn shows true appreciation for services rendered. We are pushing ourselves and our lifesource in exchange for small paychecks and the experience is heartbreaking.
November 2014
The life of a Pharmacy Clerk.
Pharmacy Clerk:
Pros: I like the people and the enviroment. The work isnt stressful most of the time, but sometimes it gets super busy and people get rude.
Cons: I dont like the fact that I'm only getting paid $7.65 an hour because I work my tail off and I only bring home $240 dollars a week.
