Pros: Able to help the elerdly. Making a difference in their daily life.
Cons: Poor wage. Not enough equipment. Under staffed.

Pros: Friendships, learning lufe kessons from residents. Having a fun happy work place. Family friendly hours, flexibility of shifts.
Cons: Stress, low pay, crappy equipment, siace to eork in grumpy redidents.

Be prepared to work very long hours.
Personal Care Assistant (PCA):
The work can be challenging especially when your client is unwell or resents having to have you there to help them. Patience and a good sense of humour helps at all times, as well as the ability to adapt to changing situations. The work is at it's best, very rewarding and it is possible to gain a great deal of satisfaction from knowing you have helped a person to maintain their dignity and independence. Treat others as you would like to be treated and you won't go far wrong.

Pros: Helping the client taking them out in the community and making such they get the proper care.
Cons: Pay rate no benefits or insurance no paid vacation or holidays.

Pros: I love knowing that I am making a difference in my client's lives. They need me, and I've come to realize that I need them too. They have had so much of an impact on my life.
Cons: Not everyone I work with/for loves this job as much as I do.

Cons: When clients are experiencing a fair amount of pain or when they've seemed to have given upon life.
