Good enough.
Parts Advisor:
For the most part this profession will pay the bills and give you a reason to get up in the morning, however, generally speaking, since dealerships are privately owned nepotism runs rampant and room for progression in your career is limited.
Some dealerships now are larger and corporate which would suggest room for growth however, in my experience, even in these large multi brand dealerships there isn't a HR department or anyone evaluating your performance so again career progression suffers.
To be "successful" in the field you need to have basic computer skills, a decent understanding of cars and a Desire to learn.

I Am Good At It.
Parts Advisor:
Pros: I know the job well and work really hard.
Cons: Supposed to work as a team but seem to do all the work.
