Nursing Home Administrator:
Required performance often outweighs contracted responsibilities. Contracted role is often exceeded and expected for no reward. This very quickly becomes normal practice. This has been my experience in 3 separate care companies. I have stayed with each one for between 2 and 5 years. Working as an administrator in another industry is more rewarding on every level.

Pros: Time management - being able to set out your working day and striving to achieve goals set out by oneself . The interactive with residents , relatives and staff .
Cons: The money is lower than one would expect for the responsibilities and stress in the job role.
