Nurse Practitioner (NP) Reviews

What is it like working as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)?

February 2019
Love my job.
Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Kansas City:
Pros: Being able to help people through difficult situations and educating them about what is going on inside there body
Cons: Floating between 2 offices, thinking that everyone should work the same way when we each have our own strengths and weaknesses
November 2018
Nurse Practitioner (NP):
I like Chandler regional hospital, not completely sure about the other dignity facility. Benefits are great. Compensation not that great. Management not bad, Best work culture. One time I hated chw, in my opinion it is way better now.
December 2017
Know what specialties you are interested in.
Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Anchorage:
The type of nursing care you provide is just as important as the quality of care you provide. I recommend that you work to know what types of care you enjoy providing the most so that your quality of care will flourish. Don't be afraid to stand out and perform well. Care about your patients and about providing the best care possible to them and the rest will follow.
September 2017
FNP didactics and clinical experience did not prepare me.
Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Dallas:
Apply to internship programs in area of interest during graduation. Do rigorous training and education in the area prior to settling into a home (job and area). Commit to the learning and find mentors very early on. Continue to learn and grow.
January 2017
Assess and treat.
Nurse Practitioner (NP) in East London:
To choose a speciality ward not just any medical ward.
February 2016
Clinical Experience is Crucial.
Nurse Practitioner (NP):
Be sure to get as much hands-on experience clinically as an RN in the field you wish to work in before you study to become an NP.
December 2015
Average NP salary.
Nurse Practitioner (NP):
Pros: The people I work with and vacation time.
Cons: Inconsistency.
