May 2020
Non-Destructive Testing Techician in Irvine:
Laid off because of Covid-19. Great company to work for. Pros: The people are amazing and the over time is was encouraged and very appreciated. The health insurance for my needs was terrific. The bonuses, monthly birthday party and quarterly gatherings are much appreciated. People like to be recognized for their hard work and long hours. I enjoyed the fact that I could work in other sections if mine was slow. They prefer to train from within. Cons: there have been times when paper towels and cleaning supplies were not ordered along with a few other office needs which had me feeling the company sometimes operates in the red. The lay-off process needs to be a lot more empathetic. You would think I had committed high treason the way I was handled.
