Marketing Specialist Reviews
What is it like working as a Marketing Specialist?
July 2019
Marketing Specialist in McDonough:
Novatech does not pay competitively. Their training/onboarding process is terrible. I taught myself to use the programs utilized by my department, and had to seek out my own training resources. Everyone seems overwhelmed by the workload, so any help available to lend to new employees is very limited. There seems to be a high turnover rate in every department. The only job that seemed worth the workload at this company is a sales job because the salespeople are not only salaried at a higher rate than many of the administrative employees(an entry-level salesperson would have been making more before commission than I was making even after having received a raise); they're also given commission AND many, many opportunities to earn extra money. Emails would go out constantly for sales contests where thousands of extra dollars could be earned for closing sales - there were no such opportunities ever available for the other departments. Management is obsessed about presenting a glamorous image but not about improving the day-to-day experience of employees. I would never recommend this company to friends or family.
