Marketing Assistant Reviews
What is it like working as a Marketing Assistant?
January 2014
I Enjoy My Job.
Marketing Assistant:
Pros: I enjoy the variety of my job.
Cons: I would like to be more respected by other people within the company I work for, particularly engineering based staff who think marketing is about making things look pretty.

Marketing and Loving your job
Marketing Assistant:
Pros: Although extremely hard work being in marketing is exciting and there is always a huge variety of projects happening at once. It is a very creative role and pushes you to use your imagination and creative flair.
Marketing may seem glamorous but it certainly isn't! One minute you can be at your desk creating advertising material and the next you can be in a white transit scouring the country.
All in all if a variety and a bit of madness is what you want in a job role marketing is for you.
Cons: It can get extremely messy from putting up exhibitions to unpacking the weekly marketing order it certainly isn't for a princess.
When working your way up from the bottom of the career ladder it can often be hard to get your ideas and thoughts across to people. You can be full of enthusiasm but senior positions find it difficult to put responsibility in you.
Although the job is mostly 9-5 I have been known to have to be up and out the door by 4am!
