Live-In Caregiver Reviews
What is it like working as a Live-In Caregiver?
September 2014
Look into job discipline completely.
Live-In Caregiver:
Don't be taken advantage of, set boundaries, this is very high stress , you must have a contract and hold them to it, or you won't get your money. My job has gotten very demanding little or no time for myself. The perks are lunch now and then a car to drive and I am his beneficiary in his will. With nothing really to inherit. My job has expanded to all errands all doctor appt t until his house hire people to do work when needed and oversee the job. Deal with his trust for payment and reimbursement for money I have spent for Mr olson.

High stress level. Working 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.
Live-In Caregiver:
Pros: I love taking care of elderly people who just need a little extra help cooking, cleaning, yard work, driving, groceries, to and from appointments.
Cons: Hard to be on call 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
