The good, the bad and the cold.
Judicial Assistant in Winnipeg:
Pros: There is certainly an aspect about my employment and working in Winnipeg that is different. There is a reason why I do what I do; and why I am needed to do what I do. As a Judicial Assistant, we are at the end of a long journey for litigants - we represent a stop. Once the information flows through our hands - the litigant(s) and all parties are cognizant of a decision made and/or to be made. Life is good -- especially if you are contributing.
Cons: There are times when the same exhilaration I feel about getting a "good" job done - can be contrasted by an equal feeling of "will it never end?"
There is always, always someone who needs help with this, that or the other. A large portion of my job is to serve the public. Sometimes, there is just too many public persons to be served.
This will not ever change. That is the bad.
