March 2017
Hard Labor.

Cons: Weather, no idea when the hours are going to be.
November 2016
Irrigation Technician:

Cons: The pay could be better consodering it takes knowledge and skill to do what we do.
July 2015
Outside.
Irrigation Technician:
Pros: I enjoy being outside and having something different to do everyday. I work 4, 10 hour days so I have a three day weekend.
Cons: My supervisors do not have their tech certificates or their licenses but they feel the need to question me non stop. Any time I say anything about a piece of equipment that might make my job easier I'm told its not in the budget.
February 2015
Save water.
Irrigation Technician:
Work hard and use water eefficiently.
June 2014
Does Not Meet State Minimum Labor Laws.
Irrigation Technician:
We have no breaks, and are told to "eat as we go" for lunch. So... no breaks and no lunch. Most often we are kept late at night and asked to be exactly on-time the next day; not logical. Furthermore, we are "asked" to work on days off. Not happy here.
March 2014
Irrigation Technician:
Pros: Knowing children can play sport on a well irrigated surface.
Cons: Management.
