Understanding client needs and being able to prioritize tasks is key to succeed as an inventory Control coordinator. The position requires analytical and critical thinking. You need to be able to make good judgement and make good decisions at any given time. I provide daily inventory receiving, tracking number, summary reports to internal and external clients. I maintained the Warehouse Management system items status. The position could be stressful at time mainly due to lack of communication between departments and management. This position involves the usage of numerous computer software programs which are needed to complete the daily work. To excel you need to understand how the front and back end works. It is crucial to be open minded and flexible when dealing with issues. Due to the amount of reporting needed, extensive computer skills specially with Microsoft office such as excel, Access, word is a most . Basic SQL, Visual Basic, ODBC, crystal reports would def be a plus.
