What is it like working as an Interior Designer?

Great work environment but compensation is poor.
Interior Designer in Kent:
Pros: Collaborative environment, no design egos so we get to just focus on good design and the client and not someone’s ego at the from.
Cons: The compensation is far below I say try standard and is forcing employees that enjoy working here, like me, to leave because we simply can not afford to work for less in todays market.

Pros: Opportunity to work across the country and across disciplines, but specialize if you want
Cons: Lack of transparency in pay and career advancement. Price of parking and lack of office amenities.
