What is it like working as an Intelligence Analyst?

July 2019
Great Career.

June 2019

January 2019
It's good but could be much better.
Intelligence Analyst in Melbourne:
Pros: People
Cons: Lack of investment in employees learning and development
November 2018
The center of the universe.
Intelligence Analyst in New York:
Pros: I live in the center of the universe
Cons: The cost of living, the subway
September 2017
Tampa working.
Intelligence Analyst in Tampa:
Pros: The weather is great most of the year. If you like food, you're in for a treat, as there are a lot of fantastic dining establishments in and around Tampa!
Cons: Downtown Tampa is the sweatiest city in America, so buy light fitting clothing for the summer months. ALWAYS have an umbrella ready in your vehicle and office. Rain is unpredictable and sporadic here! Road construction is almost constant. Combine this with the terrible drivers of Florida, and traffic is a nightmare. It's not the worst I've ever seen, but if you're not used to heavy traffic every day, you're in for a rude awakening.
May 2017
Intelligence Analyst.
Intelligence Analyst in Navarre:
Pros: Helping protect national security. Shift work allows for much needed down time. Allows me to critically think and solve complex problems with little to no information.
Cons: The pay is subpar. The hours are long and tiring. Not much room for growth and expansion.
March 2017
A lot of work, no spare time.
Intelligence Analyst in Mexico City:
Pros: Pay, food options, culture, activities.
Cons: Public transportation, food price, cost of living, long commute time, traffic.
