Could be better.
Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist in Toronto:
Pros: I like that I don't have a very rigid set of tasks to do. Every day is something different and I can tackle issues/plan my day how I see best fit.
Cons: I do not like working past my scheduled shift, and I have not received a raise in 3 years at the company. I also find that there are some toxic traits in the non-IT management that get passed on to employees (passive-aggression, snarky/rude comments, disrespect)
October 2021
Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist in Springfield:
This was a bad place to work overall. While my immediate supervisor (the director of IT) was an excellent boss, all the leadership above him was ineffective at best and disastrous at worst. There is essentially no one in charge of creating and directing a vision for the future of the diocese. Planning and directing IT infrastructure needs are met with frequent obstruction and flat our refusal to comply with standards and best practices. The diocese suffers from a total communication failure. Administration refuses to engage employees with direct a clear communication. Plans and goals are rarely communicated to employee’s and when they are shared the goals are ethereal and abstract to the point of uselessness. The vast majority of staff operate completely independently and refuse to collaborate or share resources or talents. The culture of the Diocese is highly toxic and territorial. Certain favorites are given great leeway in expenditures while producing very little and providing little value. Even when these concerns are brought to the attention of administration, they chose to turn a blind eye and allow this behavior to continue due to a fear or inability to take and corrective action. Working for the diocese was very discouraging on a daily basis.
August 2021

Nice little town to work in.
Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist in Medina:

July 2021
Harrismith.
Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist in Harrismith:
Pros: It's a small town with small town problems
Cons: Electricity and water interruptions. Housing is expensive
June 2021
Structure Needs Significant Improvement.
Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist in Fraser:
Pros: Location. It is a beautiful area.
Cons: Company does absolutely nothing for its employees. People get terminated, and the company gives the extra work to existing workers with no extra pay. Uses COVID as an excuse for not paying their employees fairly. Personal time, outside of agreed upon work hours, is abused.
