Implementation Specialist Reviews
What is it like working as an Implementation Specialist?
December 2020
Good starting position, but the company isn't receptive to employee feedback/needs.
Implementation Specialist in Waltham:
Pros: I liked the travel aspect and getting to explore new places and build relationships with new customer teams.
Cons: That the company does not take younger employee's needs and ideas into consideration. It is a company that certainly rewards for longevity, but is very by the book when it comes to progress and change.
Additionally, it can be frustrating that there are limitations to the software that may take years to be updated by development, leaving customers unhappy.
February 2020
Greenville is the best of both worlds, small town feel with big opportunities.
Implementation Specialist in Greenville:
Pros: Opportunity
Cons: Some unprofessional clients
November 2019
Life at IRESS Financial Markets.
Implementation Specialist in Johannesburg:
Pros: Flexible hours, casual dress code and people are young and vibrant. 10 days sick leave and family responsibility is great. Company is very family orientated - there is even a family day out at the end of the year.
Cons: It's incredibly stressful because of the nature of the industry. People loose money by the second if your software doesn't work. It is also incredibly difficult to support and and learn all software within IRESS as nothing is standardised and there is little documentation
September 2019
It's a growing business, and you feel involved.
Implementation Specialist in Toronto:
Pros: The travel and office balance
Cons: I don't get paid enough
March 2019
Dissatisfaction in SLC.
Implementation Specialist in Salt Lake City:
Pros: Public transit
Cons: Air quality
February 2019
Implementation Specialist in Los Angeles:
Pros: Work-life balance, close-knit team
December 2018
Very Liberal, for the South.
Implementation Specialist in Tampa:
Pros: Being able to afford to live within walking biking distance of the office.
Cons: Not much, pretty happy with the choice. It is not a place that I had thought of moving but do not regret taking the chance. Only down side is I keep considering moving to one of the places I had been thinking of before moving here.
