Grocery Store Manager Reviews
What is it like working as a Grocery Store Manager?
March 2021
Phone calls on days off. They think you should drive in horrible weather to deal with power failure. Har to get help and to get a day off.
Grocery Store Manager in Seward:
Pros: It use to be a fun job
Cons: The way employees and managers are treated
January 2021
Slave-a-lot.
Grocery Store Manager in Columbus:
Pros: I enjoy managing a safe, clean, and friendly environment for my customers.
Cons: Management thinks it’s ok to play with people lives when they want to cut expenses. They cut labor hours well below the minimum required to affectively operate, causing the store manager to pick up the slack. It is not unheard of for me to work 96 hrs a week. On top of that, they hire all hourly associates in at minimum wage (Ohio $8.80 as of Jan 01, 2021) which is devastating in the middle of a pandemic., and highly not proportionate to the high stress environment of a small, low-staffed, grocery store.

Grocery Store Manager in Adrian:
Pros: Having the 1st choice to the items I need 1st when we get new truck deliveries.
Cons: The pay isn't very well for the amount of work one has today. The company is very poor about getting things done in a timely manner for their employees.
February 2020
Underappreciated by the Company.
