Make sure you know the adobe or relevant software going into the interviews. Look up the company, its earnings and reputation before going to any interview. Get a feel for the type of company you are working for. Keep a sketch book of ideas when they come to you, do things like listen to stories and keep enjoying visual things so that you have a resource of ideas before you even get to work.

October 2016
Undervalued.
Graphic Artist / Designer:
Pros: Liquid schedule, casual dress, access to facilities.
Cons: No overtime, no medical benefits, not an employee (1099), low pay, chaotic management, poor communication from management.
September 2016
Best job ever.
Graphic Artist / Designer:
Pros: Motion design helps you create anything you can jag one and let everything run wild, or make lots of money by creating slick ads. It's the perfect balance of creativity and hardwork.
Cons: Nearly kills myself learning new software and keeping up with the ever growing industry, but also why I love it. Some times it's frustrating when a client ruins a design, but a small price to pay.
