Pros: Developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues is one of the best parts of this career. Most staff at CHS are kind people who care about their colleagues and friends. There are great opportunities at CHS in Ag and Retail, as well as Management.
Cons: The Energy division has pockets of toxicity that can trap great talent and turn it away. There are some groups of managers who do not have respect for people and it creates a highly stressful, very ugly work environment.

Pros: In the Army we face many unique challenges and can view them as road blocks or opportunities to find new solutions. My specific unit has made a lot of forward progress in finding solutions and ways to move forward. Each day has been a great opportunity to learn and do meaningful work to make a difference.
Cons: People are given the same pay as their peers whether they work or just show up to the office. Many quality professionals have moved on because of this allowing for other unqualified personnel to climb the ranks and just be present.
