Front Desk/Receptionist, Dental Office Reviews

What is it like working as a Front Desk/Receptionist, Dental Office?

May 2017
Know your job description.
Front Desk/Receptionist, Dental Office in Holly Springs:
I would recommend anybody that is considering "Front Desk / Dental" position, to ensure the duties and responsibilities of the job are clearly defined and provided up front, BEFORE determining what you will ask for with regard to wages. Front Desk can be a very "gray area" within the dental profession, and if duties are not well defined up front, becomes very easy to just keep adding duties and workload to the position until you are working far beyond your compensation. Take pride in your practice, always greet people with respect and compassion, and ALWAYS take responsibility for fixing problems when they arise in order to take care of the customers needs. "Customer is King" rings very true here, coming to the dentist is not comfortable to most people, provide them comfort.

Front Desk/Receptionist, Dental Office:
You represent the office. So my advise would be to welcome each patient with a warm friendly smile and great customer service attending to there every need professionally. Make the feel comfortable as some patients may be very nervous and afraid to see the dentist from past experiences.
