What is it like working as a Family Support Worker?
March 2019
Significantly lacking mental health, community, and child & youth resources!
Family Support Worker in Moncton:
Pros: There’s a lot of children and youth who need mentors and role models to care for them.
Cons: Lack of resources, witnessed many cases of harmful approaches used by other individuals in this field of work, the pay is low.
January 2019
Family Support Worker:
The job would be great if we were paid a fair wage and had more support from our management instead of being left to deal with office duties while in the field working. Benefits are okay but way over priced for what they are. The company doesn’t contribute what so ever, all in all it’s an okay place, most people don’t stay long.

Family Support Worker in San Carlos:

Cons: No support for car maintenance and only 53 cents per mile given to us for all the driving done all day and everyday. Better pay.
