Executive Assistant Reviews
What is it like working as an Executive Assistant?
February 2023
I only dread the Traffic.
Executive Assistant in Jacksonville:
Pros: Slowly moving towards a younger, tolerant, and more progressive mindset
Cons: Traffic, inconsiderate commuters, rudeness, lack of city officials to take seriously pedestrian safety, litter, and crime.

Nobody knows what or how much you do until you are no longer there to do it.
Executive Assistant in Bristol:
Pros: I actually LOVE 99% of my job duties. I love the people that I work with. I like that I know my job, inside and out, and I've only been there for 26 months. I am well respected in the office and I have a great relationship with pretty much everyone at every level.
Cons: Not being respected or cared about by upper management, mostly corporate-level officers. I have had more and more put on me over time. It was only a couple of months before I was working 65 hours a week. They don't care at all about work/life balance. As long as they're getting all that they want out of you, that's all they care about. I discussed with them on multiple occasions that I needed to work fewer hours and how my family life was suffering. I was told that they would give me a promotion, complete with a raise and an assistant. Nothing changed, and two months later, I was told that none of those things were going to happen and I need to figure out how to do my job in 40 hours. I was also told that I was "stupid" to take on more things when employees came to me and needed help, and continuously reminded how "dumb" that was and how I created my own mess and I needed to deal with it.

Pros and cons of office management.
Executive Assistant in Cincinnati:
Pros: Be helpful , developing systems, trust, independence
Cons: Lack of transparency, working harder so other people can float
January 2023
Avoid all the other managers.
Executive Assistant in Burbank:
Pros: I'm lucky to befriend a manager who is also an amazing mentor and leader.
Cons: My advice is to simply avoid all the other managers. The leadership in this company is really lacking, and there's only one manager I know who actually knows how to lead and mentor the employees. I was fortunate enough to have them as my team lead and mentor, but not every employee is as fortunate. In general, you'll have to deal with either an unprofessional manager or an ignorant one.
December 2022
Great place to learn and develop your career.
Executive Assistant in Atherton:
Pros: Serving the executive whom I support as well as the opportunity to mentor students.
Cons: Fully in office (unless sick or performing delegated offsite tasks/projects).
December 2022
Great coworkers, archaic systems.
Executive Assistant in Sydney:
Pros: My manager, my peers, beautiful office, great location, work flexibility
Cons: Combative P&C, lack of accountability, everything is do-it-yourself
December 2022
Great exposure to the business.
Executive Assistant in New York:
Pros: Daily interaction with C-Suite Executives
Cons: Lack of monetary incentives for non-executives
