August 2021
Stable company.
Executive Assistant in Nashville:
Pros: Work from home
Cons: Inefficient processes in daily operations. UBS does not value its rank and file employees.
August 2021
Fast-paced, stressful, sometimes rewarding.
Executive Assistant in Burbank:
Pros: My goal is to write for television, so when I'm able to participate creatively and add my input, I feel the most rewarded and close to my passion. Reading the scripts and watching them come to life on the screen is my favorite part. Seeing months and sometimes years of work translate is a crazy process. I also have amazing coworkers, who are often willing to help and teach when they can.
Cons: The amount of hours and the disproportionate amount of pay is hard to balance the rest of its positive qualities. While there are some rewarding personal aspects of the job, there are practical restraints like financial stress, compounded by the pandemic. Working from home permanently may not be an option extended to assistants, which is another factor that I'm looking at in a new working environment.
August 2021
Alpena is a great northern Michigan town.
Executive Assistant in Alpena:
Pros: More access to services than in my hometown.
Cons: The drive to get to work.
August 2021
It's a beautiful place to work, but hard to find good pay in media.
Executive Assistant in New York:
Pros: I love how cultural it is, always easy to get lunch and always easy to get around.
Cons: How expensive everything is compared to salaries.
