May 2015
Is a tough job physically and mentally.
Esthetician:
This is an amazing field to be in but can be tough on you physically and mentally. It does take abit to build a clientele but do not get discouraged.
January 2015
Valuable skills.
Esthetician:
Continue an esthetic career if you love working with people and money isn't a factor. This career is rewarding because your job is affecting a person's life by helping them feel better about their appearance. However, it takes a long time to build a level of higher compensation. My advice to an new esthetician is to stick with the choice if you are compassionate to learn new skills through education, certification and college.
December 2014
Awesome.
Esthetician:
Pros: Meeting and helping people.
Cons: Not being paid what I'm worth.
November 2014
Doesn't Pay Off.
Esthetician:
Do not consider this field. Facials, microderm, waxings, etc are all a luxury now days. Not too people are familiar with skin health and the importance, therefore not a big clientele. Save your money and go to a community college and earn a better degree.
