One of the cleaner, more rewarding trades,
Electrician:
Put in your time learning the basics, they are the fundamentals to everything you will do in the future. Don't be afraid to ask questions, its easier to ask questions and do the job the right way than it is to do it incorrectly and have someone go back and fix your work. Always test for proper voltage, and never work hot if you dont have to, Respect electricity, simple mistakes can kill you or those around you. Label everything, its better to over label than it is to not label enough. Neatness counts, even if your work is going to be concealed, complete your work as if it will be on display for all to see. Take pride and be proud of every single thing you do, the neatness and workmanship will not only make you noticed above others, it will make any future work or troubleshooting easier in the future. To sum it all up, Always ask questions, take pride in your work as if it will be on display for all to see. It will set you apart from every other apprentice out there.
