Always ask your associates what works best for them, avoid micromanagement of the people with whom you supervise. Give your people the benefit they deserve and always praise them publicly. Discipline your people in private, as much as is possible. Rely on the the expertise of your co-workers (other district managers in your region), find a mentor and ask questions and find solutions.
