Leadership under Construction.
Director of Finance & Administration in Orange:
When selecting a company select a team that will help you grow professionally. A team that will allow you to make decisions, trusts your judgement and where your decisions will not be overturned behind your back.
Avoid companies that are managed by family members within, it's a recipe for disaster for your mental state well-being and will stump your growth professionally.
There will always be stress in the workplace, but unnecessary stress from the decision makers, for example; due to lack of time regards is not appreciated. Having your team on hold because decisions are not made in a timely manner puts a burden on everyone.
Fear of pointing out corrective actions or constructive criticism does not help the team, and will not help improve personal their work ethics.
Being a leader, giving support both on the personal and workplace is a very satisfying reward. You are respected for your experience and professionalism. Do what you say and say what you do!

Serve And Work.
Director of Finance & Administration:
Be of service. Look out for your interests privately and with key players. Be of service to your company, your peers, your network, your community, department, boss, etc. Create value, and always be willing to replace yourself. Work your career and career plan, explore all opportunities. It all goes so fast, avoid drama, serve others and serve your own chosen path, which will change BTW. Adapt, serve, advance, and, go with the flow and then find a corporate/work environment that will do the same. Your career will be MUCH more rewarding if it is of service someone(s) or something. Good luck!
