Always make the patient feel as though theyare the#1 priorty.
Dental Receptionist:
My advise would be to don't sweat the small stuff. Listen to the other ladies who have been there longer and let those ladies be your mentors. Never think that you are better than the person right next to you because even the BEST make mistakes. Take criticism as it helps you grow...it may hurt your feelings but later in life you will appreciate it. Always remember that new patients are the MOST important as they will possibly bring you more business, such as family or friends. Never take your employers for granted because you are lucky to have a job in today's economy. Always answer the phone in a timely manner if possible because that could be that next patient that needs an appointment that brings profit to your company and referrals. I always act as though it were my company and I try to run it as though it were my own. It makes you think about how much TRUST EMPLOYERS are putting into you, for you to do your job correctly.
