Deli Clerk Reviews
What is it like working as a Deli Clerk?
January 2020
Understaffing issue.
Deli Clerk in Charlotte:
Pros: I am thankful for having a job. I like that I have 401k and payed holidays
Cons: Always understaffed and overworked. Management is fast to throw orders but never willing to jump in and help. They are constantly adding more work but not increasing the amount of employees to get the amount of work done.
December 2019
It's ok.
Deli Clerk in Las Vegas:
Pros: it's got a large amount of different people from different countries
Cons: there is alot of angry people
November 2019
Working at TA as a Deli Clerk.
Deli Clerk in Prescott:
Pros: The thing that I love most about my job is seeing the customers leave satisfied and come back on a regular basis because they love the way I cook. Their joy makes me like my job.
Cons: The thing I like least about my job is how they go about paying people. I have been there for 2 years in my department. Everyone else that has the same title, the same set of responsibilities all make $10 an hour or more and none of them have been there as long as me. I also was overlooked as the Deli Lead even though my manager knew I wanted the position. He hired someone who has no prior Deli experience and on top of that is getting paid more than $12 an hour. It is unfair and I hate that I have to work 5 days a week by myself and have been there the longest and get paid less than everyone who has either just recently started or has been there almost 1 year.
November 2019
Stressful and underpaid.
Deli Clerk in Billings:
Pros: Hours and benefits
Cons: Food service and constant rush
October 2019
It is my passion.
Deli Clerk in Wilmington:
Pros: I love the deli
Cons: Wearing a cut glove
October 2019
If your looking for full time, you'll be dissatisfied.
Deli Clerk in Culpeper:
Pros: The good, it makes a great starter job for part time young people as it is a great company with good benefits even for part timers. I also think that most everyone both associate and customers are very friendly.
Cons: The bad, if you are looking for full time, you are going to be very frustrated with the system. You go through an initial 90 day probation period when you first hired and only after that can you apply for full time but even then, it will take on average 5-6 months for it to be approved; sometimes even longer than that.
October 2019
It's not a bad place to work at.
Deli Clerk in Wickenburg:
Pros: The coworkers I have.
Cons: Rude coworkers
