Pros: Plenty of jobs available, always new companies and room to grow.
Cons: Public transport system is complete garbage. I advise getting a role in the outer suburbs

Cons: Poor political leadership fails the region, too many individual fiefdoms vs a more regional government

Finally found a decent job in a tech wasteland.
Customer Success Manager in Seattle:
Pros: I love being close to the water, the mountains, and my family. We're improving our transit, so if you do need to commute, it's easier to do that than ever. Employers here generally seem to recognize how expensive real life is here.
Cons: Seattle has a really high cost of living and I'm trapped behind West Seattle's broken bridge. If you have to commute from an exurb, you're going to be miserable.
