What is it like working as a Crane Operator?

I live in menifee which is 80miles away.
Crane Operator in San Diego:
Pros: Hi like our crane work, build docks, jet and pile driving we also have a long beach facility, I been doing work with cranes a long time I worked with civil service 11yrs been through numurous training ,schools, and classrooms. I can oprerate all cranes and heavy equipment and drill rigs. I wish our company would go union , I mean the boat guys are union butwe the crane crew needs to go union.i.
Cons: I dont like the commute thats about it . But im right at half way point to long beach and san diego in the middle. GET US IN THE UNION.
