Consulting Systems Engineer Reviews
What is it like working as a Consulting Systems Engineer?
January 2023
Maximum growth, moderate growing pains.
Consulting Systems Engineer in Nashville:
Pros: Lots of interesting people and plenty of opportunity to work on interesting problems and projects
Cons: The compensation tends to lag behind the rest of the market. Once you're in, you can't get more than a 15% increase annually, and that's only if you get a promotion (otherwise it calls at 5%). Benefits aren't terrible, but aren't great. The demands for work output can be grueling, and priorities can shift quickly enough to cause whiplash.

Pros: Flexibility, customer interaction.
Cons: Co-workers lack of commitment.
