Good working environment. Lack of upward mobility. Pay scale at bottom end of the charts. Promotions=salary =pay decrease. No training available. Lack of qualified knowledgeable supervisors and project engineers.

Barton Malow is a great company with great people.

Pros: I like mostly how diverse Barton Malow is. I have gotten the opportunity to be part of some really interesting things that always challenge me. Never a dull moment
Cons: What I least like is that our south east region has a problem placing the right people on the right jobs. I keep getting placed on jobs that I’m having to fight through because the original super they put on the jobsite wasn’t getting it done. I’m definitely under paid for the 70+ hours I put in driving my own car with no company truck. Yet there are supers that do absolutely nothing that get all the company perks. Trucks, higher pay, better bonuses, etc.. Guess my skins to dark.
