October 2021
Challenging yet Rewarding.
Construction Coordinator in Tallahassee:
Pros: I like that I'm not micromanaged. I love being part of the construction process. I am grateful to have some amazing coworkers. I appreciate that, for the most part, everyone works as a team as has each others back.
Cons: Nepotism. Family owned business. Speaking of the original owner and his heir to the businss, his own son. They have zero appreication for employees. There is zero transparency. The implent ideas without discussing such changes with the people who will actually be using it. They are always trying to save a buck regardless of the collateral damage it causes. They pile more and more on the employees that they know can and WILL handle it because they recognize out work ethic and take advantage of that. They do NOT listen to any ideas, thoughs, etc. They both very much look down on woman and especially those with children.

Construction Coordinator in Charlotte:
The definition of “overworked and underpaid”. You learn to accept the fact that your best work, on your best day will never garner a positive response. No support, constant criticism, impossible workloads and deadlines are all hallmarks of this position at this company.

Waste of time.

Not valued or compensated for what I bring to the table.
