Computer / Network Support Technician in Detroit:
I've been with the company for 14 years. Company is growing but there has been no upward mobility. The pay for my position is below national standard. To add insult to injury they pay contracting company more per hour than full time permanent.. Moral is low, staff have to be self motivated. They have provided no professional development. Executive staff are very controlling of situations that are not in their job description. They don't listen to my director, or myself when it comes to IT intergration. They make our team reactive instead of creating situations were we are all on one page and proactive. Management is unorganized, Person and Status oriented. There is always high turnover but I love doing what I do for the children, and I'm great at what I do.
